Another long cast, to try and make up for the week we missed.  George provides a Cisco Corner segment on the use of SNMP v3 on your Cisco devices.  We also chat about its use within apps like Cacti and other monitoring tools.  We also chat a little about a couple of uses for MindManager (a tool that was provided to George and myself by MindJet to evaluate).

    You can get a certificate for one device for $99 per year if you buy 3 in advance from Network solutions at http://www.netsolssl.com/ If you go to verisign it’ll cost you about $400. Note that you need to start the process of a new certificate not more than 31 days in advance of the old one expiring and at least a week in advance for all the checks to be made.
