Dust-free paint drying
Here’s a little tip for when building pinewood derby cars — especially when it’s cold out.
I picked up these little organization tubs (with lids) at Home Depot for $.99 each. They are the perfect size for placing the car body within while its paint dries. I use these so that I can bring the cars indoors where it’s much warmer.
Once the cars are complete, these same containers can be lined with a towel and the car can safely be transported to the official weigh-in.
