In the Trenches – 06-27-2005

Wow… This podcast definitely ranks down there with some of my worst podcasts. It seemed like I just couldn’t get out of first gear. I contemplated not posting it, but I’ve reluctantly agreed to forge on. That’s the beauty of podcasting isn’t it? One day you’re on top of it, the next day you suck! So be forewarned… hopefully this isn’t too much of a waste of your time and bandwidth.

In this cast I covered a LOT of things requiring links… First off, Todd Cochrane, Rob Greenlee, Andy McCaskey and myself were all able to catch up with one another this past Friday for a quick beer and some conversation. It was nice to finally put a face to the voices of my colleagues. I wired myself up and recorded my graduation ceremony. Of the 2.5 hours of recording, I only wanted maybe 2 minutes tops of the content. Some of it is kind of comical. Doppler 3.0 is under construction, as announced on Friday at DopplerRadio.net, and finally, an Admin-to-Admin segment created by a listener using the wiki.
